Hoewel het telefoonscherm een signaal weergeeft, er normaal gebeld kan worden en de gesprekskwaliteit niet noemenswaardig wordt be\u00efnvloed, is het mogelijk dat de volledige-band-jammer weinig effect heeft op signaalinterferentie of een beperkt interferentiebereik heeft.
