According to public information, the 4800MHz frequency band is an abbreviation, which actually refers to the range of 4800-5000MHz, which is mainly used for the N79 frequency band of 5G mobile phones. In mainland China, the 4800-4900MHz range is allocated to China Mobile for 5G, and 4900-4960MHz is allocated to China Radio and Television. When a mobile phone signal blocker blocks all 5G signals, it naturally includes the 4800MHz frequency band.
However, it should be noted that neither China Mobile nor China Broadcasting Corporation has fully deployed 5G base stations in the 4800MHz frequency band nationwide. China Mobile only uses the 4800MHz frequency band for small-scale local private networks in very few areas and specific occasions.
Therefore, in most provinces and cities in China, 5G mobile phones cannot receive base station signals in the 4800MHz frequency band.
