During the consultation process of upgrading 5G signal jammers, some customers raised the question of whether the new version of 5G signal jammers needs to be equipped with power adjustment function.
Prison signal jammers can be roughly divided into two categories: low-power 5G signal jammers and high-power prison signal jammers.
Combined with the current recommendations and distribution of base stations by various operators, it can be observed that the base stations around the prison are generally not too far away, resulting in relatively strong signal strength in the prison. For prison high-power jammers, it is necessary to consider the signal coverage direction and power adjustment to prevent over-range interference near the prison.
In the current process of upgrading prison jammers to 5G jammers, two situations can be considered when adding power adjustment function for product selection. The first case is that when choosing a low-power model, the power adjustment function can generally be omitted, because these low-power 5G jammers can work directly at the maximum output power after installation. The second case is that when choosing a high-power model, it is necessary to consider and require that each frequency band module has a power adjustment function. This ensures that the shielding signal conversion will not inadvertently affect areas unrelated to the prison.
